Grab a free Guest Room and decorate with “furni”, or head out to Public Rooms to meet people and hang out.
#3 – Free Realms – 80 Points
Free Realms is a beautiful world with a great deal of activities. They scored on top of user-friendliness, graphics and houses. It is family-friendly without the need of adult content which I liked. The world was large, and it was filled with content. It did seem to be very in-your-face about getting things, and I had trouble finding customer support.
#4 – Club Penguin – seventy two Points
Club Penguin can be a cartoony, web-based world. It is targeted towards children and was slightly below my personal preference for community, due on the interaction being primarily using children. It does have a lot to do, including getting your own personal igloo. It scored high with my rating system however and is a great place if you are under 12 yoa.
#5 – Meez – 60 Points
Meez is fun and there were many to hang out with. There is no “world” to speak of, just a network of backgrounds to look at your avatar and converse and dance. There are a ton of avatar customizations and I liked most of the animations.
So there you might have it… the best virtual world communities out there. I recommend trying all of the above products and finding your niche inside thriving virtual world sector.
